Ticket Information

BREAKOUT Tickets cost £32

Booking forms and all the BREAKOUT information went out in the Methodist Recorder, Link and Share magazines at the beginning of May. If you haven't managed to get hold of one, then get in touch with MAYC and they'll send you one out immediately.

There will also be separate tickets available for the Alliance Music concert on the Saturday night, costing approximately £15 and available from the NEC and other ticket outlets.

Birmingham churches are also invited to join us for the Sunday Morning Worship - please get in touch for information...

Planning to take a group to BREAKOUT?

Here are ten top tips:

  1. Make sure the date of BREAKOUT is in your diary; 1 - 3 October 1999.
  2. Start advertising this event to young people - MAYC has some flyers and stickers to help you do this.
  3. Make a list of people who are interested in going.
  4. You might want to collect a small (non-refundable) deposit from each person who signs up to ensure them a place with your group.
  5. If there are not enough youth leaders, ask other adults in your church about accompanying your group.
  6. Enquire about the cost of hiring a coach or minibuses (make sure the driver has a permit). Check details of advance train tickets.
  7. Start to organise fundraising activities to pay for tickets, food and accommodation.
  8. Make enquiries in your church, Circuit and District, about grants to help towards the overall cost.
  9. Link up with another church group in your community - BREAKOUT is an ecumenical event.
  10. Pray for the people planning BREAKOUT.
