Sunday morning worship
The morning worship at BREAKOUT will take the form of two distinct events; a Praise Party starting at 10:30 for young people who have attended the whole weekend, and a worship celebration starting at 12 noon to include members of the Birmingham churches, who will have so kindly offered their services as hosts.
The main worship celebration will be filmed by the BBC to be televised on their Songs of Praise programme later in the year.
Below you'll find information on those that will be helping us to celebrate on Sunday morning:
Noël Robinson
Noël was born in the early 1960's into a musical family where his mother played the piano and his father the guitar; it was to the latter that Noël aspired.
At an early age Noël gave his heart to the Lord and became a Christian. Since then his love for Christ and gospel music have been a driving force behind his musical ministry.
As he grew, his father encouraged him to take piano lessons which helped to establish a base for his musical knowledge. Since then his formal training has included the study of classical and jazz guitar and also the double bass. He went on to play the latter instrument with the local Borough Orchestra for several years.
Noël's talents have been a great asset to his church, (The Church of God of Prophecy) where he is National Music Director. He has also played for many Christian artists including Gloria Gaynor, Roy Castle, David Grant, Graham Kendrick, Ron Kenoly, Sue Rinaldi and the LCGC. He has played on such shows as C4's "People Get Ready", BBC Radio 2's "Gospel Train" and BBC TV's "Children In Need" and "Songs of Praise". He has featured on many of the Kingsway Music albums during the past six years.
Noël is full time in the music ministry and has worked with Graham Kendrick for many years as well as leading worship for many Christian meetings such as Mission to London. He has formed a record label called Jubal and released his first album out at the moment called "O Taste and See" with his second on the way. As part of his ministry and vision, Noël is constantly writing and producing music for other artists and their projects.
Noël is married to Delores and they have two children, Sheraine and Kai.
